Planning a beautifully put together space can be a daunting task. If you are feeling overwhelmed or aren’t sure where to start, or are just feeling challenged by trying to determine the scale of furniture most appropriate for your room, then our Home Consultation service may be the perfect answer.
How it works
Come in to our Coquitlam or Vancouver store to book a 1 hour appointment with Haley our Design Consultant. Let her know in advance the design issues you are facing so that she can better tailor her visit to your home. The advance fee for the home consult is later credited back to you when you make your purchase. If you are confident that you want some of our pieces, then this can be a great add on benefit for you to help you ensure that you are making the right choices. This service is available within the Greater Vancouver Area including the North Shore and Tri-cities.

Hi, my name is Haley and I would be delighted to help you with your Design Challenges.
Working with our clients, and doing Home Consultations is the fun part of both design and my job. I love assisting people in finding the right pieces for their space; pieces that are not only going to last, but that the clients are going to enjoy and which will create memories for years to come. The emails and phone calls we get from clients telling us how happy they are with their furniture, is simply the best feeling. It gives me such satisfaction, knowing that I’ve played a part in that happiness.
Working at Creative Home Furnishings for the past number of years has both enhanced my design knowledge and given me a great knowledge base of how we can best make our furniture suit your home. I have assisted clients with everything from choosing the fabrics to complement their space, to working with their needs to create unique one of a kind pieces, such as dining tables, desks and even custom headboards with floating night stands. My projects have ranged from helping to choose finishing touches such as art and accessories to complete someone’s décor, to helping clients with both space and ‘style’ planning for the entire home. Whether your space is an ultra modern compact downtown condo, or a Grand Traditional style home, I can assist you with finding the perfect pieces.
I love being able to help our clients solve their space issues. In small homes especially furniture pieces can’t simply be pretty. Functionality is key to design. If a sofa looks good, but isn’t comfortable you will not sit in it; if cabinet can’t efficiently store your knick knacks it is a waste of usable space. I can help you to really maximize your space such as: adding drawers a bed frame which provides much needed storage where normally dust simply collects, recommending a sofa-bed that can transform your small condo living room into a guest room, or simply assisting you in determining the best size of dining table to fit your space and entertaining needs. My strength is in finding simple solutions to daily issues, done in a stylish way that combines the best of function and form.
