The Company: Locally made and owned, with a strong focus on
community, they donate a percentage of their sales to provide
mattresses to shelters. A strong environmental focus is demonstrated
by recycling all waste
plastic and cardboard, excess foam and quilting are
recycled into carpet underlay.
Their mattresses
never need to be turned over ("Flipped") and come with a 10 year warranty.
Mattress styles range from those using Memory Foam, Latex, high
density foam or pocket coils, and different combinations of each. In
addition, some models have the added advantage of pillow tops for a
more luxurious sleep experience.
Explanation of some terms used:
Warranty:
Full manufacturers warranty on any manufacturers defect. Either
10/5 warranty – prorated to 10 years, with the first 5 years at 100%
full manufacturers warranty, or 10/10 warranty – 10 year full
manufacturers warranty.
Tight top:
Standard mattress top, ie does not have a Pillow top.
Pillow top:
Thick quilted cushion which is sewn to the top of
the mattress, providing a soft cushiony experience.
Never turn:
Due to the high quality construction of these
mattresses they do not need to be flipped over, it is still
recommended to rotate them. As a result, a superior constructed
mattress can be built for the same price.
Conforma Touch Foam:
(previously known as “Convolute Foam”),
looks like an egg crate – 1000’s of peaks and troughs, medium
density foam.
Extended Life Foam:
1 up from Conforma Foam, little denser
with higher quality it lasts longer without losing shape. A
combination of Conforma and Extended is ideal.
Quilt Foam:
High density, thin foam that goes through the
quilting machine. It helps to reduce body impressions.
